In this image, we are:
- Removing the lamp post on the background
- Deleting all the garbage on the floor
- Adding some pixels to make the photo wide at the end of both side of the photo
Deleting the lamp and the garbage on the floor
- Create a new layer
- Pick the Lasso tool
- Draw around the lamp to delete it
- Go to Edit on the top navigation bar
- Click on Fill
- From the fill Content menu look for Content-Aware
- Click OK
- Do the same for the shadow of the lamp, the garbage on the floor, the electrical box.
- Click on Deselect to deselect the last selection
Changing composition with Content Aware Cropping
- Select the crop tool
- On the options bar above, you want to uncheck the box “Delete Cropped Pixels”
- You want to turn on “Content-Aware”
- Take one of the handles of the cropping tool and drag it to the side ( a little bit)
- Click enter. Photoshop will create new pixels to fill the new created space.
