We have a backdrop but you want to extend it to the end of the photo frame and get rid of the stuff that is not part of the backdrop and which is disturbing. To fix that, we are going to use the Patch Tool.
- Duplicate the layer by dragging the current layer down to ” Create a new layer”
- Click on the Patch Tool and draw around the problem erea, in this case the borders of the photo
- On the option’s menu find Diffusion and write “7”
- Click on the problematic area and drag it to a good source area, this will patch over the undesirable background
- When finished, click “Deselect”
